Welcome to Reading Counts!

Reading Counts is a Scholastic Reading Program that motivates and encourages independent reading.  This program is based on students self-selected reading and answering ten question quizzes about that book.  Reading Counts provides strong motivation to earn points by reading more books and taking more quizzes.

The goal of Reading Counts is to encourage students to read!  Through guided reading and test-taking practice, students will quickly get the idea that you must read closely and remember what is read.  It is a great reading program that can help monitor, promote, and  increase students reading comprehension.
